Philippians 3:14
This Year, We’re Not Looking Back
Sister, can we talk? This is the year we stop rehearsing old conversations in our heads at 2 AM. Pressing Forward in 2026 isn’t just a cute phrase for our vision boards—it’s our lifeline, and a reminder to keep moving ahead.
Not because our past doesn’t hold valuable lessons. But because we’re finally ready to stop letting it drive the car while we sit anxiously in the passenger seat.
2026 doesn’t need our guilt, our what-ifs, or our carefully crafted explanations for why we are the way we are. What it needs? Our presence. Our momentum. Our whole, beautiful, complicated selves showing up.
Pressing Forward With Faith and Intention
There’s a scripture that’s been sitting with me like morning coffee—warm, necessary, grounding:
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 3:14
Here’s what hits different about this verse: pressing forward is an active choice. It’s not something that happens to us when we finally “feel ready” (spoiler: we never will).
It means we’re done:
- Negotiating with the fear that whispers we’re too much or not enough
- Replaying relationships, jobs, or seasons that ended for a reason
- Carrying wisdom like it’s a 50-pound weight instead of a compass
We know what lights us up. We know what our bodies, minds, and spirits are calling us toward. And we know we won’t get there by setting up camp in 2019.
Pressing Forward in 2026 Is a Decision, Not a Feeling
So we’re moving forward.
With the kind of clarity that comes from finally listening to our intuition. With obedience to what we know is right for us—not what looks good on social media. With the resolve that only comes from realizing life is too short to play small.
This year isn’t about proving we’ve healed, arrived, or “figured it out.” It’s about alignment. About living in sync with who we’re becoming.
Here’s our new filter: Does this move me toward my calling? Does this honor my energy, my season of life, my wellness? Does this let me be fully myself?
If it asks us to shrink—to dim our light, silence our voice, or abandon our boundaries? It stays in the rearview mirror.
We’re pressing forward—eyes on the horizon, hands open to receive, hearts steady even when they’re scared.
Welcome to 2026. The year we finally, fully press forward.
Your Turn: Write the Vision and Make It Plain
Before you scroll past this moment, pause. What are you pressing toward this year?
Maybe it’s:
- Finally prioritizing your health without guilt
- Setting boundaries that protect your peace
- Pursuing that dream you’ve been whispering about
- Healing your relationship with your body
- Building a life that doesn’t require recovery every weekend
Scripture gives us permission—and a roadmap:
“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” — Habakkuk 2:2
So write it down. In your journal, your notes app, on a sticky note by your bathroom mirror. Name it clearly. Make it so plain you can’t pretend you didn’t see it.
Because pressing forward in 2026 starts with knowing where we’re going.
And sister? You were made for this. Share in the comments, or keep it between you and God — but don’t leave it unspoken.
