My calling is to serve the whole woman—mind, body, and spirit. As a physician assistant specializing in holistic women’s health, I blend medical science with natural strategies to help women make confident, values-aligned decisions about their care. You can expect clarity, warmth, and practical plans you can use every day.

I hold a B.S. in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland and a Master of Physician Assistant degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. I’m nationally certified (PA-C, NCCPA) with additional training in women’s health, menopause care, and aesthetics.

At Alabaster Box Her Wellness Collective, I provide comprehensive women’s health and OB-GYN care across the lifespan, including menstrual health, contraception counseling, hormonal balance, perimenopause, menopause, and integrative wellness. My care is culturally attuned, evidence-based, and rooted in compassion.

Dr. James E. Jones Jr., MD, FACOG

Dr. James E. Jones Jr. is a distinguished obstetrician and gynecologist based in Richmond, Virginia, and a former clinical instructor at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. With nearly four decades of medical experience, Dr. Jones brings a legacy of excellence, service, and compassion to Alabaster Box Telehealth, where he serves as the collaborating physician alongside Karen T. Jackson, MPA, PA-C.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), Dr. Jones earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. His medical career includes leadership roles as Chief of OB/GYN at Hill Air Force Base and Commander of the Virginia Air National Guard, where he made history as the first African-American flight surgeon, commander, and colonel in the state’s Air National Guard.

Dr. Jones is also a man of deep faith and service. Since 2002, he has served as Minister of Christian Education at Second Baptist Church in Richmond. He holds additional degrees in Engineering Physics from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University School of Theology.
